The Department of Media at the College of Arts and Letters at Cihan University – Erbil organized a workshop entitled (The Impact of Press Coverage on Crime and Domestic Violence in the Media) on Wednesday and Thursday 3-4/3/2021 and on the Cihan Academy Hall
The workshop included a number of axes, where the first axis presented the assistant teacher, Abeer Mahmoud Jabbar, entitled Definition of crime and domestic violence
In the second axis, Dr. Zhyan Othman presented the psychological axis affecting the events of violence and family crime. As for the third axis, it was presented by the assistant teacher Omar Hassan Fahmy, entitled “Applied models for press coverage of crime and domestic violence topics in the media.”
The workshop was attended by a number of the university’s teaching staff along with the students of the Media Department.
