On 24th of November,2021, the department of English held a workshop entitled “Figuring out the Deepest Meaning of the Language: A Discourse Analysis” in Cihan Academy. The workshop lasted for two days and a number of lecturers from the departments of English and Translation took part. It tried to spot light on the approach of discourse analysis as research methodology applicable in Linguistics and Literature as well. A number of lecturers from different departments attended it and their comments were fruitful.
