Mobile Application Based-Therapy for Adolescents with Depression

Abstract

This study aims at discovering the preferred mobile application that requires mobile application based-therapy for adolescents with depression. Medications and therapies are frequent treatments provided and prescribed by doctors to treat depression patients. However, communication between doctors and patients is not in-depth and limited that is only held in a therapy setting. This study applied Delphi Method and find out that the application of Whatsapp is chosen and categorized as the main based–therapy for adolescents with depression.. The findings of this study would be functional for psychiatry doctors particularly in using Whatsapp as a based-therapy to converse with an adolescent with depression in the future.
