Effect Of Radiotherapy In Patients With Brain Cancer

Abstract

Radiotherapy (RT) is vastly used for both malignant and benign tumors to limit the risk of recurrence.The purpose of RT is to deliver the prescribed dose to the tumor and to protect the organs at risk (OAR) as much as possible. IMRT and 3D-CRT are two techniques that are used to damage various types of cancer including brain cancer. the purpose of this seminar is to evaluate these two techniques.
