Corporate Governance (CG)

During two days the workshop presents themain concept about CG principles. The workshop started with an
explanation presented by Ass. Lecturer Warea of the definition of CG which broadly refers to the mechanisms, relations, and processes by which a corporation is controlled and is directed; involves balancing the many interests of the stakeholders of a corporation. After that, he presents the CG principles, different models of CG,CG codes and guidelines, an organization for economic co-operationand development principles, stock exchange listing standards. Finally, a brief history of CG was presented.
