The Department of Business Administration at Cihan University–Erbil organized an academic seminar entitled “The Risk-Driven Civil Liability” on 28 September 2025, presented by Assistant Professor Younis Salahuddin Ali.
The seminar explored the concept of risk in civil liability, distinguishing it from peril and hazard within the context of risk management and legal responsibility. It highlighted the role of reasonable foreseeability as a key legal standard used by courts to determine negligence and liability for damages.
