The Department of Biomedical Sciences at Cihan University–Erbil proudly hosted a specialized seminar titled “Acne & Post-Acne Sequelae: Clinical Management and Aesthetic Approaches” on 23 November 2025, in alignment with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
Delivered by Assistant Lecturer Bakhtawar Ziad Omer, the seminar offered an in-depth and up-to-date exploration of acne as a major clinical and aesthetic challenge. The session highlighted innovative, evidence-based strategies for managing active acne and preventing long-term complications, while showcasing advanced aesthetic solutions for post-acne scarring and pigmentation.
By integrating medical science with modern aesthetic technologies such as chemical peels, laser therapies, microneedling, and injectables, the seminar enriched students’ knowledge and strengthened their understanding of comprehensive patient care. This initiative reflects Cihan University–Erbil’s ongoing commitment to excellence in health education, innovation, and community well-being.
