On 4 November 2025, the Department of Anaesthesia Technology at the College of Health Technology, Cihan University–Erbil, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Early Recognition and Management of Shock in Critical Care”, supporting SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being.
The seminar was delivered by Dr. Younis Ibrahim Abdulla, who discussed shock as an acute circulatory failure and highlighted its major types, clinical signs, early recognition, and evidence-based management strategies in critical care settings. Emphasis was placed on timely diagnosis, appropriate investigations, and effective treatment to reduce mortality and improve patient outcomes.
