Anesthesia Techniques Department Students Participate in the First Iraq Anesthesia Conference

A group of students from the Department of Anesthesia Techniques at Cihan University – Erbil participated in the First Iraq Anesthesia Conference (IAC 2025), held on September 12 and 13, 2025, in Baghdad. The conference was organized under the patronage of the Syndicate of Health Professions, in collaboration with the Iraqi Ministry of Health, and in academic partnership with the NERDGENIC Foundation.

Under the guidance of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhsin Al-Ghazzi, Head of the Anesthesia Techniques Department, third-year students actively engaged in conference sessions. The event brought together professors, specialist doctors, students, and graduates from anesthesia departments across Iraq, showcasing the latest advancements and techniques in the field of anesthesia.

The participating students—Saadi Ahmed Saadi, Menna Allah Diaa Mohammed, Aya Anwar Mohammed Ali, Di Bassem Mohammed, Sara Arkan Jamil, and Saeed Amer Mohammed—contributed to panel discussions, workshops, and other academic activities. Their participation provided valuable exposure to cutting-edge scientific research, professional healthcare environments, and opportunities to network with national experts.

The conference featured a series of research presentations covering both theoretical and practical developments in anesthesia within Iraq. For the students, the event represented an important step in preparing for their future professional careers, offering direct insight into the evolving demands of the healthcare sector.

At the closing ceremony, the Cihan University – Erbil delegation received certificates of appreciation and participation, recognizing their active involvement and their contribution to enriching the scientific discussions and activities of the conference.
