Buildings & Requirements

Abstract

The art of building was already existing in the ancient times. One of the primary needs of all creatures is to have a home. Every one wants a suitable house which should fulfill the physical, economical and social needs of him. Examples of ancient buildings are Egyptian Pyramids, and Babylon Hanging (Iraq) Gardens. Later new buildings like the Taj Mahal (India) and White House (US). Before actual construction, it must be properly planned, designed and estimated. Buildings are classified as follows: 1.Classification according to occupancy (Function) 2.Classification According to Fire Hazard 3.Classification According to Structural Design Each class is divided into several types with their requirements.
